An independent practice association (IPA) is an association of independent physicians, or other organization that contracts with independent physicians, and provides services to managed care organizations on a negotiated per capita rate, flat retainer fee, or negotiated fee-for service basis.
The concept of providing high quality, standardized physical medicine services through ongoing provider education was launched in 1989. Since that time Capstone providers have continued to lead the professional field, meeting and exceeding patient and consumer expectation through the monitoring of outcomes and function, and the delivery of chiropractic medical rehabilitative services.
